Emile Pandolfi
"...he plays in a free-flowing, emotional manner that seems to
go to the music's very soul."
(Stereophile Magazine, 'Music to Die For’)
Classically trained from the age of five, Steinway Artist Emile Pandolfi is a seasoned artist with a performance career spanning more than 30 years. He connects with his audiences at a very personal level as he shares his love of life, laughter, and music.
Emile's LA years included a six-year stint at the world-famous Comedy Store, playing nightly for, then, up & coming comics, Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Bob Saget, Jim Carey, and many many others. He toured both the US & Australia and performed on several recordings (including one of his own). He also worked as a rehearsal and studio pianist, theater and opera coach, and of course, in the nightclub scene. His experiences have included some unique opportunities, such as recording & performing Rhapsody in Blue in the Opening Ceremonies of the 1984 Summer Olympics, musical director and pianist for a Melodrama dinner theater, and working with Chick Corea, who describes Pandolfi as having a "monster technique."
Pandolfi moved his young family east in 1986 and later started his own record label. Today he is known as one of the world’s premier pop pianists with an extensive catalog of solo albums and CD sales upwards of three and a half million hard copies. His solo catalog spans decades of Hollywood & Broadway favorites, holiday carols, Gershwin and Chopin. He also recorded with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Emile's European tours include concerts in England, Italy, Norway, Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, Russia and Iceland.
Pandolfi's music has been available on Pandora since 2009; on Spotify since 2015. He averages 2 million unique listeners a month, and has surpassed a half-billion streams across the globe.
With such a full career at the piano, Emile now shares his love of the piano along with his techniques for creating his signature arrangements in his book. And for music students of all levels, he loves delivering his seminar in a relaxed and easy manner that's sure to be full of "Aha" moments!
